CRYSTAL BRIDGES ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTORS OF CURATORIAL AFFAIRS AND EXHIBITIONS
The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, Arkansas, announced today that Margaret C. Conrads will be its new director of curatorial affairs and Robin Groesbeck will be its new director of exhibitions and interactive presentations.
Conrads, who will move to Arkansas to start at Crystal Bridges in March, specializes in American art and was curator of American Art at the Nelson-Atkins Museum for 20 years. After that, Conrads worked at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth, Texas, where she served as the deputy director of art and research.
“I look forward to working with the talented team as the museum continues to deepen its collections, exhibitions, and research activities,” Conrads said in a statement. “My husband David and I are eager to get to know beautiful Northwest Arkansas and call it home.”
